To quote the words made famous by the late Steve Jobs, “But wait, there is one more thing…”
I know that this project was set to be 365 days, but it is a leap year so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to also add one more day. Over the course of the year, I received a lot of praise which was great but more important was the constructive criticism that help me expand my way of thinking. Posting everyday definitely became a huge challenge so I know that I pissed a lot of people off when I would bombard their Twitter and Facebook streams with up to 20 new posts within a 1-2 hour time frame. Going forward, of course, I will continue shooting but I can say that not having the pressure of having to take a picture everyday will be a breathe of fresh air (especially those days when I was crazy tired and had to go through 300-500 pictures).
I would like to thank my wife and son for putting up with my carrying around 90lbs of gear every where that we went and for being patient when we were out while I stood there grinding away at my shutter button until I got it right. I love you both very much.
To my parents, family and friends, for putting up with me in much of the same way as my wife and son. Thanks for coming by and commenting on my posts. Thank you for the opportunities that you all gave me by posing for me whenever possible to help me test new things that I was learning. Thanks for the encouragement and for recognizing/verbalizing to me when you felt a shot wasn’t up to my potential. Your feedback helped me grow tenfold more than I expected. I still have a long journey ahead of me and I will always continue to learn but I will forever be grateful for the platform that you all helped create for me.
Thank you all.
