The Pantages theatre (formerly the RKO Pantages) served as the playground for many vaudeville acts and doubled as a movie theatre. With a rich history behind it, the Pantages is home to these gilded statues and an amazing amount of art deco construction style features. with it’s low golden tone lighting, going to this theatre truly makes you feel like you’re stepping into a little bit of the past. On this night we came to see Wicked again and just as before, it was phenomenal! Although we weren’t “allowed” ( 🙂 ) to take pictures inside the theater, I was able to get this one in the lobby.
