After almost 2 months, the hole in our backyard is full and one of the trees left has been trimmed! Making time to work on home projects has been extremely difficult because of some of the other projects that I’ve been involved in, however, this past weekend my parents surprised us by coming over to our house very early in the morning and helping us mow the lawn, fill in the hole and trim the tree. The 2′ x 8′ piece of wood you see in the picture is what was holding up the excess branches from hitting the ground.
By the way, by “help” I mean they did it all. My parents are amazing and I’m very thankful for both of them! 🙂
