Hundreds, if not, thousands, competed in the L.A. Marathon this past weekend. In the spirit of Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory, each competitor pushed themselves to the limit as gusty winds and an angry rainstorm whirled around them. Today’s picture is dedicated to my good friend Bobby for having the heart and will of a champion. Running through unexpected conditions, he not only made us proud but inspired us by completing his first marathon. Congratulations, Bobby! We’re very proud of you!
Now go ice your knees. 🙂
Thanks dude. That means a lot to me.
I know a lot of people that have a strong will but not many that put it into action. Congratulations again!
Besides the whole standing in a rainstorm for 3 hours, it was a great moment watching him finish after months and months of training and dedication.
