So this post is more for the geek in me. Ever since we got FiOS I’ve been contemplating running a long wire so that I can hard wire my Xbox 360 and PS3 using a hub in our living room (since I gave my wireless adapters away). However, Verizon provides you with a really cool wireless router/modem and it kinda left my old Linksys router off to to the side… until today! I erased the programming that it contained and reflashed it to be a wireless bride access point. Yup, it carries a wireless signal from the modem and I’m now able to hard wire my 360 and PS3 with having to run 784ft of wire! Sweet!
