It’s been insane over the past two weeks and I’m finally getting a chance to post! Not having internet at home really takes a toll but more on that in another post. Trying to post from a Blackberry was nearly impossible and while all the other stuff in our lives was going on, it wasn’t worth the extra stress. 
Anyhow, back in the days when I was more “aerodynamic”, my friend, Chuy (Jesus), inspired this skateboard design. At the time, he was really into skating and he took the time to take two pieces of different colored grip tape, stencil out the band Ozomatli’s logo and embed it into each other before permanently sticking it on his board. Chuy is also responsible for my love of the Element skate brand. When I got my skateboard I decided that black grip tape just wouldn’t do and endeavored into creating my own work of art. It wasn’t the easiest thing in the world to do but the appearance is well worth it.
